About Us - Natura Farms, LLC NATURA FARMS is a small farm consisting of 57 acres located on White Rock Lake in Scandia, MN, thirty miles north of the Minneapolis and St. Paul area. Natura Farms name is indicative of our commitment to working with Nature. We aim to keep the environment clean and healthy, to build soil life naturally, and to grow exceptionally tasty and nutritious produce without the use of pesticides. Our Food Alliance Midwest certification is further assurance of our commitment to ecological integrity and growing superior fruits, vegetables, and herbs. We provide our guests, friends, and customers with a wide variety of exquisite berries, nutritious melons, healthy vegetables, tasty herbs, succulent grapes, and delicious apples. We do all of this to nourish our bodies and refresh our spirits, set in a serene and pleasant rural environment. Our farm has dedicated 10 acres of land to a beautiful beach front and park like setting. The beach and park contain many majestic oak, birch, and maple trees which are sure to provide for a stress reducing rural quietness where one could enjoy the sounds of nature. On these grounds our friends and guests can enjoy picnic lunches, our youth playground, a baseball diamond, a volleyball court, and an occasional dip in the lake. Many of our guests will even plan a day trip to our farm. OUR GOAL The primary goal of NATURA FARMS is to produce Naturally grown fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs of superior nutritional quality. Our fruits vegetables and herbs are grown in live, rich soil without the use of pesticides the benefits of which are outlined in the Food Alliance Midwest f.a.q. section. This farming method will, in turn, supply a wide variety of fresh tasty produce for the health, enjoyment, and well-being of our guests, friends, and customers. |
